Two cannabis factories discovered - Great Yarmouth |

Officers have discovered and dismantled two cannabis grows in Great Yarmouth this week.
On Monday (11 May 2026), officers attended two properties, one on Regent Road and the other on Main Cross Road, in which hundreds of cannabis plants were found at each location.
At 11.17am, we were called to a property on Regent Road and a factory of approximately 100 plants was discovered. A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis, and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was later released on bail while enquiries continue.
At 4.28pm, we were called to a property on Main Cross Road and officers uncovered a factory of approximately 395 cannabis plants. A man aged in his 20s was arrested and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Durin Deda, aged 24, of no fixed address, was subsequently charged with the production of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear in Norwich Magistrates’ court today (Wednesday 13 May 2026).
